Matteen Labs does not sell your birth data. Ever. We do not sell, rent, license, trade, or otherwise transfer your birth data — or any personal information you provide — to any third party for monetary or other consideration, and we commit that we never will. This commitment is permanent and applies to every piece of information you share with us, whether through matteen.com, humancharts.com, MATTEEN.ai, or any other Matteen Labs service.
This Privacy Policy is designed to inform users of Matteen Labs LLC's websites, applications, platforms, software, AI models and related services (collectively, the "Services") about how we gather and use personal information in connection with your use of the Services.
"Matteen Labs," "we," "us," and similar terms refer to Matteen Labs LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company with its principal place of business at 2110 N Ocean Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33305. "User," "you," "your," and similar terms denote you as a user of our Services.
This Privacy Policy describes how Matteen Labs collects, receives, maintains, stores, uses, and discloses personal information, including personal information of third parties that you provide or submit to us. For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, "personal information" means any information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be associated with a natural person, or with a device used by a natural person to access or use the Services.
We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications take effect immediately upon posting. If we make material changes, we will notify you so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
By accessing our Services, you agree to this Privacy Policy and our practices of gathering, using, and sharing personal information as outlined herein. If you disagree with any part of this Privacy Policy, please refrain from using the Services and avoid providing us with any personal information.
By providing or submitting personal information of any third party to Matteen Labs, you represent and warrant that you have obtained all necessary rights, consents, and explicit written permissions from such third party to collect, use, and disclose their personal information for the purposes contemplated by this Privacy Policy.
This Privacy Policy applies to the following processing activities:
We only collect the personal information that is necessary to carry out our business, provide the Services you requested, and keep you informed of the latest news about us.
Subject to certain exceptions and limitations, personal information is any information that directly or indirectly identifies, describes, relates to, is capable of being associated with, or can reasonably link to a particular consumer or household.
Matteen Labs is not a HIPAA-covered entity and does not provide healthcare services. Any personal information shared in sessions or communications is treated as personal information under this Privacy Policy, not as Protected Health Information under HIPAA.
Under state privacy laws including the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), certain categories of information you provide to us qualify as "Sensitive Personal Information." We treat this information with heightened care.
Because your birth data uniquely identifies you and reveals sensitive information about your identity and life, we treat it with the highest level of care. Matteen Labs will never sell, rent, license, trade, or otherwise transfer your birth data to any third party for any purpose. This commitment is permanent and cannot be revoked without your express prior consent obtained through affirmative re-consent — meaning you would have to specifically opt in through a separate consent process. There is no scenario under this Privacy Policy in which your birth data is monetized.
You have the right to request that we limit our use and disclosure of your Sensitive Personal Information to only what is necessary to provide the Services you requested. To exercise this right, submit a request via the contact form on your applicable site (matteen.com/contact-us/ or humancharts.com/contact-us/) and select the category "Privacy or Data Request." We will respond within thirty (30) days of receipt.
As described in the Membership Agreement applicable to Matteen Inner Circle Full Membership, you may submit feedback, suggestions, and testimonials to the Company (collectively, "Submissions"), and the Company may make audio or audiovisual recordings of you participating in sessions, activities, or events related to the Services (collectively, "Recordings"). To the extent that Submissions or Recordings contain personal information, they will be collected, used, disclosed, stored, and protected in accordance with this Privacy Policy, while remaining subject to the ownership, license, and release provisions set out in the Membership Agreement.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services and/or to sign up for our newsletter. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children under the age of 18. Those under the age of 18 should not use the Services or provide us with any personal information. We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children's Internet usage.
If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 18 has provided personal information to us, please contact us via our contact form (matteen.com/contact-us/ or humancharts.com/contact-us/) and select the category "Privacy or Data Request."
Any account discovered to belong to a person under 18 will be terminated and any personal information deleted.
We use common information-gathering tools — such as log files, cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies — to automatically collect information, which may contain personal information, from your computer or mobile device as you use our Services or interact with emails we have sent to you.
We gather certain information automatically via log files. This collected information may include your Internet Protocol (IP) address or proxy server, device and application identification numbers, your location, your browser type, your Internet service provider and/or mobile carrier, the pages and files you viewed, your searches, your operating system and system configuration information, and date/time stamps associated with your usage.
This information is used to comply with data contracts, treaties, national laws, and regulations, and to analyze overall trends to help us provide and improve our Services. We also collect IP addresses from users as part of the security features.
We use cookies and similar technologies such as web beacons, tags, and JavaScript alone or in conjunction with cookies to compile information about usage of our Services and interaction with emails from us.
We use both session-based and persistent cookies. Session cookies exist only during one session and disappear from your computer or device when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer or device after you close your browser.
Most web and mobile device browsers automatically accept cookies but, if you prefer, you can change your browser to prevent that or to notify you each time a cookie is set. You can also opt out via industry tools at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com/appchoices, or learn more about cookies at allaboutcookies.org. Note that by blocking or deleting cookies used by us, you may not be able to take full advantage of the Services.
We may partner with third-party ad networks to display advertising on our Services or to manage our advertising on other sites. Our ad network partners may use cookies and web beacons to collect non-personal information about your activities on the Services and other websites to provide you targeted advertising based upon your interests (online behavioral advertising). If you wish to not have this information used for the purpose of serving you targeted ads, you may opt out using the specific opt-out mechanisms at optout.aboutads.info and youradchoices.com/appchoices. Please note this does not opt you out of being served advertising generally; you will continue to receive generic ads.
Some Internet browsers may be configured to send "Do Not Track" signals to the online services that you visit. There is no consensus among industry participants as to what "Do Not Track" means in this context. Like many websites and online services, we do not currently alter our practices when we receive a "Do Not Track" signal from a visitor's browser except as specifically required by law.
Third parties with whom we work may also provide us with information about you. We may combine the information you have given to us with additional information made available by external sources. For example, depending on your settings or the privacy policies for social media and messaging services like Facebook or Instagram, you may give us permission to access information from those accounts or services. Please verify the privacy policies of these third parties before submitting your personal information to them.
Conversely, we may use social media features, such as the Facebook "like" button, the "Tweet" button, and other sharing widgets ("Social Media Features"). You may be given the option by such Social Media Features to post information about your activities on a website to a profile page of yours that is provided by a third-party social media network. Social Media Features are either hosted by the respective social media network or hosted directly on our website. To the extent the Social Media Features are hosted by the respective social media networks, the latter may receive information that you have used our Services from your IP address. If you are logged into your social media account, it is possible that the respective social media network can link your use of our Services with your social media profile. Your interactions with Social Media Features are governed by the privacy policies of the companies providing the relevant Social Media Features.
Information shared by you within group sessions, workshops, community channels, or other Program forums is accessible to other members. Other members are contractually bound by the confidentiality provisions of the Membership Agreement not to disclose or misuse that information, but Matteen Labs cannot guarantee compliance by all members and disclaims liability for breaches by other members.
We collect and process your personal information for the purposes and on the legal basis identified below:
Where we need to collect and process personal information by law, or under a contract we have entered into with you, and you fail to provide that required personal information when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract.
Where your personal information is anonymized or de-identified, we do not require a legal basis to use it as the information will no longer constitute personal information under the applicable data protection law. Our use of anonymized or de-identified data is not subject to this Privacy Policy.
Matteen Labs does not sell, rent, license, or trade your personal information. Ever. This commitment is permanent and applies to every category of personal information described in this Privacy Policy, with particular emphasis on your birth data, which will never be monetized under any circumstances.
Your personal information may be collected, transferred to, and stored by us in the United States of America. We will use reasonable means to ensure that personal information is protected regardless of where your personal information may be located. If you have questions, please contact us via our contact form.
We may transfer personal information to non-affiliated service providers in providing the Services, such as IT and system administration and hosting, research and analytics, marketing, account management, technical operations, credit card processing, and email service providers to send out emails on our behalf, pursuant to agreements that prohibit the service providers from using or disclosing the personal information other than for the purpose of processing and which impose security safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Without limiting the foregoing, we may use third-party artificial intelligence and machine learning tools (collectively, "AI Tools") to assist in delivering our Services. In doing so, certain personal information you provide may be input into or processed by such AI Tools. These AI Tools are operated by third parties and are subject to their own terms of use and privacy policies, which may differ from ours.
Matteen Labs is in the process of transitioning to enterprise or API tiers of AI Tools that contractually restrict the AI Tool provider from training its models on our inputs, and shall use commercially reasonable efforts to complete that transition. During the transition period, Matteen Labs shall use commercially reasonable efforts to limit the disclosure of sensitive personal information to AI Tools where appropriate. To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except to the extent resulting from Matteen Labs' own gross negligence or willful misconduct, we shall not be liable for any loss, disclosure, or misuse of information arising from the use of AI Tools. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that we may use such AI Tools in the course of providing Services to you.

Additionally, we may disclose aggregate statistics about our users in order to describe our business to prospective partners, advertisers, sponsors, and other reputable third parties and for other lawful purposes, but these statistics will include no personally identifiable information.
In the event of a sale of all or substantially all of our business or another similar transaction, we may transfer or disclose your personal information to a purchaser or prospective purchaser, who may collect, use, and disclose such information for the purposes of evaluating the proposed transaction or operating and managing the affairs of the acquired business, or for other purposes identified in this Privacy Policy. Any such transferee will be bound by the no-sale commitments regarding birth data set forth in this Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to disclose your personal information as required by law, and as necessary to protect the property, interests, and rights of Matteen Labs.
Our Services may contain links to websites operated by third parties. These websites may collect your personal information. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties and we do not assume any responsibility for their practices. Please check the privacy policy at each website you visit.
We operate a text message program ("Text Program") as it is necessary to keep you informed and allow us to provide the services requested by you. The Text Program is subject to this Privacy Policy, as applicable. By opting into the Text Program, you consent to be sent periodic text messages to the telephone number you provided. By providing a telephone number to us, you confirm that you have the authority to grant us the right to send text messages to that telephone number.
You may opt out of receiving messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message you receive. After this, you will no longer receive messages. Please note that opting out of the Text Program may result in you not receiving notifications in a timely manner and prevent us from delivering our Services to you. You can receive assistance or obtain more information at any time by contacting us via our contact form.
We do not charge for the Text Program, but your wireless carrier's normal messaging, data, and other fees may apply. We are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Please contact your wireless carrier for information about your messaging plan.
We may display push notifications on your mobile device to keep you informed and allow us to provide the Services requested by you.
You may, in most cases, opt out of receiving push notifications by going to your device's Settings, selecting Notifications, and then changing the settings. Different device configurations, or updates to devices, may affect or change how these settings work. Please note, however, that by opting out of receiving push notifications, you may not be able to take full advantage of the Services in a timely manner. Your choice to opt out will not affect notifications placed by any other organization.
We will keep your personal information only as long as is reasonably necessary for the purposes of collection or as required by applicable law. We determine the appropriate retention period for personal information on the basis of the amount, nature, and sensitivity of your personal information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, and whether we can achieve the purposes of the processing through other means.
At minimum, we will retain:
You may exercise any of the rights described below by submitting a request via our contact form (matteen.com/contact-us/ or humancharts.com/contact-us/) and selecting the category "Privacy or Data Request." Please note that we may ask you to verify your identity before taking further action on your request. The verification methods we use may include requests to disclose your first name, last name, email address, location information, security question, and other information. We will process your request within thirty (30) days of receipt.
The rights described below are available to all users regardless of state of residence. Matteen Labs voluntarily extends California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA)-equivalent rights to every user of the Services.
You are responsible for keeping your personal information up to date. You can also ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete personal information concerning you that you cannot update yourself.
You have the right to request information about the personal information we hold on you at any time. Submit a request through our contact form and we will provide you with your personal information via email. If you require additional copies, we may need to charge a reasonable fee.
Once per calendar year, you may request that we provide a list of companies to which we disclose your personal information for business purposes, and a list of the categories of such personal information that we share.
If you no longer want us to use your information to provide you with the latest news about our Services and/or other helpful information, you can request that we erase your personal information by submitting a request through our contact form.
Please note, however, that we may retain some of your personal information as necessary for our legitimate interests, such as fraud detection and enhancing security. We may also retain and use your personal information to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, such as keeping information for tax, legal reporting, and auditing obligations, as well as professional obligations. Information you have shared with others, such as comments and community postings, may continue to be publicly visible. Additionally, some copies of your information, such as log records, may remain in our database but are disassociated from personal identifiers. Residual copies may also be kept in our backup systems. If we have shared your personal information with service providers, we will let them know about the erasure where possible.
If we rely on your consent as our legal basis for processing your personal information, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. If you have already given your consent but you prefer not to receive promotional information from us, you may unsubscribe using the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any promotional message you receive from us, or by submitting a request through our contact form.
You can ask us to block or suppress the processing of your personal information in certain circumstances, such as where you contest the accuracy of that personal information or you object to us processing it and we have no legitimate grounds that override yours. Such a request alone does not stop us from storing your personal information.
You have the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. The "sale" of personal information broadly includes any communication of personal information to any business that is deemed to be a "third party" for monetary or other valuable consideration, subject to certain exceptions and limitations. "Sharing" includes the disclosure of personal information to a third party for purposes of cross-context behavioral advertising.
As stated throughout this Privacy Policy, Matteen Labs does not sell your personal information — ever — and this commitment is permanent for birth data and applies as a general commitment for all other personal information. Matteen Labs may, however, now or in the future, disclose non-birth-data personal information to certain service providers for the purpose of cross-context behavioral advertising through tracking pixels. If you would like to submit a request to opt out of such sharing, please submit your request through our contact form. Matteen Labs shall respond to requests within thirty (30) days of receipt.
Whenever we process your personal information by automated means based on your consent or based on an agreement, you have the right to get a copy of your personal information transferred to you or to another party. This only includes the personal information you have provided to us.
In certain cases, our Services may use automated decision-making processes. This means that certain decisions are made based solely on automated processing, including profiling, without human involvement. Specifically:
Automated decisions are based only on the personal information you provide and the data generated through your use of our Services.
You have the right to elect not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling. You may opt out by submitting a request through our contact form. Withdrawing consent will not affect any automated actions that were already carried out lawfully before your withdrawal and may affect the future performance of the Services.
You have the right to obtain meaningful information about the logic involved in these automated decisions, contest an automated decision, and/or request human review. If you wish to exercise these rights, please submit a request through our contact form.
To the extent we base the collection, processing, and sharing of your personal information on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on such consent before its withdrawal.
We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your rights. We will not deny you services, charge you different prices or rates for services, impose penalties, provide you with a different level or quality of services, or suggest that you may receive a different price or rate for services or a different level or quality of services for the exercise of your rights.
You may use an authorized agent to exercise certain privacy-related requests and rights on your behalf. The authorized agent's exercise or request on your behalf sent by mail shall include a power of attorney or a notarized statement properly signed by you appointing such authorized agent for such purpose. If your authorized agent submits the exercise or request online, a copy of the power of attorney or the original notarized statement shall be sent to us by mail.
If you have any queries or would like to make a complaint in relation to this Privacy Policy and our privacy practices, submit a request through our contact form (matteen.com/contact-us/ or humancharts.com/contact-us/) and select the category "Privacy or Data Request," or write to us at the following address:

In case of a breach of personal information that is likely to result in high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you and the proper authority as soon as feasible, and in any case within thirty (30) days, following becoming aware of the breach and without undue delay.
While we follow generally accepted standards to protect personal information, no method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. If you have any questions about the security of our Services, please contact us via our contact form.
