The shift

What changed.

Matteen brought a perspective to Mark's work that a purely operational lens can't provide — the kind of insight into how a person is built to lead, decide, and grow. For someone who has founded, scaled, and exited companies across healthcare and technology, that layer of self-knowledge became another tool for making better decisions at the highest level. Mark's experience with Matteen is less about tactics and more about the clarity underneath them.
